--------Introduction in English--------
"You Song Tu" Volume, Ming Dynasty, Du Qiong, Paper, Colour Setting, Vertical 28.8cm, Transverse 92.5cm.
There is no money in this picture. There are three seals in Jun: Dongyuan Zhai, Du Yongjia and Yiqiu Yiqi. Later, there was Wen Borenba, explaining that it was Du Qiong's work. According to Zhang Chou's "Qinghe Calligraphy and Painting Fang" description: "Dongyuan was born to write a number map for his sister-in-law Wei Yousong. At that time, there was an inscription poem, I do not know when it fell off. Liu Wanan's long sentence still exists, which is called Yilin Shuangbi." According to Du Qiongwen's poems and essays on Wei Yousong, we can see that Du Qiong's sister-in-law Wei Bencheng, Nuo Yousong and the Wei family are all officials and scholars. The background of this picture is Wei Yousong's visit to Duqiong's "Dongyuan Zhai". They are very interested and have a very speculative conversation. After that, Du Qiong took advantage of Xing to write poems on paintings and sent them to Wei Yousong.
"Yousong Tu" takes Wei Bencheng's nickname as the theme of painting, which is the first of its kind in Wumen Painting School. This kind of nickname Tu was mainly popular among early Wumen painters, but it was rare before and after the decline of Wumen Painting School. "Yousong Tu" is a typical courtyard landscape, which depicts the scenery and the activities of people in the courtyard. The ancient pine stands upright on the rolling head slope, the houses are hidden and the trees are surrounded. The two men in the main room talked on their knees, wearing red official clothes and official hats for Wei Yousong, and wearing blue clothes and holding books for Du Qiong himself. In addition, there are two bookboys serving tea. In the middle of the picture scroll, there are bonsai and chess cases in the garden. There are two groups of literati activities, one is to draw for the ambush case, the other is to enjoy the scenery. There are several peaks on the rolling-tail rockery, which are scattered with ranks, and the structure is dense but not blocked. There is a small pavilion on the rockery, which should be the Yanlu Pavilion in Du Qiongwen's collection. In the picture, Du Qiong intentionally highlights the image of Wei Yousong to reflect the theme. It is worth noting that the purpose of the creation of Yousong Tu is different from that of ordinary literati paintings. It is created for the commemoration of friends'visits while enjoying painting. It has a strong pertinence and commemoration. The characters and scenery in Yousong Tu are all meaningful, and it is also accompanied by poetry notes or friends' inscriptions and postscripts. This kind of creative method is popular in the works of Wumen School in later generations, such as Shen Zhou's "Goodbye Map of Jingjiang" and the "Huishan Tea Fair Map" which is illustrated in the article. In painting, this picture inherits the traditions of Huang Gongwang and Wang Meng in Yuan Dynasty. It is green and light-colored. In meticulous brushwork, it shows vigor and vitality, elegant and elegant colors, from which we can see the gentle and elegant style of the painter.
Qing Zhang Chou's "Qinghe Painting and Calligraphy Fang" is included.
