清宣宗(道光)孝慎成皇后(?—1833年),姓佟佳氏,三等承恩公舒明阿之女。宣宗为皇子时,嫡福晋钮祜禄氏卒。嘉庆十三年(1808年),仁宗赐册为继嫡福晋。宣宗继位,于道光二年(1822年)十一月立为皇后。道光十三年(1833年)卒。
图绘夏日庭院景致,岸上微风扶柳,池中红白两色荷花开得正艳,又有鸳鸯在水中游嬉。皇后身着便装,手持折扇,以时令鲜花作头饰,眉形纤细,下唇一点鲜红,是清宫女子的典型妆容。画中的荷花既是实景,同时又包含象征意义,意在赞誉画中人物的清高品格。成双的鸳鸯则是宫中女性对情感生活的美好祈愿。

Empress Xuanzong of Qing Dynasty (Daoguang) filial piety Shencheng (? - 1833), surnamed Tong Jia, the daughter of third-class Chengen Gong Shu Ming A. When Xuanzong was the emperor, he died of Nuhulu in Jin Dynasty. In the thirteenth year of Jiaqing (1808), Renzong bestowed a book on his successor, Fujin. Xuanzong succeeded and became Queen in November, 1822, the second year of Daoguang. Daoguang died in 1833.
The pictures show the summer courtyard scenery. The wind on the bank supports the willows. The red and white lotus flowers in the pond are blooming brightly, and the mandarin ducks are swimming in the water. Dressed in casual clothes, holding folding fans, and headdressed with seasonal flowers, the queen had slender eyebrows and bright red lower lip, which was the typical makeup of women in the Qing Palace. The lotus in the painting is not only a real scene, but also contains symbolic meaning, which is intended to praise the noble character of the characters in the painting. Dual mandarin ducks are women's wishes for emotional life in the palace.
