　　清代乾隆时期戏曲十分繁荣。乾隆十五年（1751年）十月二十五日是清高宗弘历生母崇庆皇太后六十岁寿辰，乾隆为此举行盛大的庆寿活动。文武群臣聚集北京，从西华门到西直门外的高粱桥，十余里路张灯结彩，戏曲、杂技、舞蹈等各种文艺节目纷然杂陈，令人目不暇接。此四卷万寿图真实地再现了当时的庆寿场面和演戏的场景，是清代戏曲重要的图像资料。

"Longevity Celebration of Empress Chongqing"

"Longevity Celebration of Empress Dowager Chongqing". Painted by Qing Dynasty, Zhang Tingyan and others, silk, color, 64.5 cm vertical and 2994 cm horizontal.

Opera flourished in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. In the fifteenth year of Qianlong (1751), October 25 was the sixtieth birthday of Empress Dowager Chongqing, the mother of Hongli, Emperor Gaozong of Qing Dynasty, for which Qianlong held a grand celebration. Wenwu ministers gathered in Beijing, from Xihua Gate to the sorghum Bridge outside Xizhimen. Over ten miles of roads were decorated with lanterns. Various literary and artistic programs, such as opera, acrobatics and dance, were presented in an endless variety. These four volumes of Longevity Maps truly reproduce the scenes of celebration and acting at that time. They are important image materials of Qing Dynasty operas.
