--------Introduction in English--------
Axis, Ming, Dai Jin Painting, Paper, Coloring, 115 cm in length and 39.6 cm in transverse.
Section Department: "Jing'an is written for Kui Zhai." Jun "Qiantang Dai Wenjin" seal. Above the picture are four inscriptions and postscripts by Ming Liu Tai and others. "Zhu Zhichi" and so on.
This picture shows two butterflies dancing in the flower of a hollyhock.
In Dai Jin's works, meticulous paintings of flowers and birds are rare. This picture uses fine brushes and beautiful colors. It not only retains the workmanship of flowers and birds in the courtyard of the Song Dynasty, but also absorbs the elegance of Qian Xuan's boneless coloring in the Yuan Dynasty. At the bottom of the picture, the texture of the Lake stone is rough and concave and convex, which is in sharp contrast with the flowers and grass insects.
