　　邓善之平安家书，四月初五日，铅山州发。十六日信州收汝母初三日书，知吾儿上坟未归。所付饶吏书尚未到。李经历言，其人尚留杭也。老父以十七日至玉山，留十日，过永丰，又五日，过铅山，自此过德兴方可还司。日色向炎，未有絺纻衣，恐下旬方能遂归期，不知汝母可来宛陵否？今因福建李公亮书史迁调浙西，作此报平安。想家中一一安好，余不多及。四月四日，父书付庆长夫妇。

　　有鉴藏印“阿尔喜普之印”、“乐琴书以消夏”。

　　作者在家书中叙述其经历，涉及的地名有铅山、信州、玉山、永丰、德兴等，在元代都属江东建康道，现为安徽、江西等省属地。文中“庆长”名邓衍，在《元史》中附名邓氏本传后。

　　此帖用笔精妙，有晋人行狎之势，笔法轻活秀润，不失古人遗风。入笔细微，稍露锋芒，给人以清健宛丽之感，韵胜而有法度，艺术水平较高。故黄溍称邓文原：“工于笔札，与赵魏公齐名。”

On the 16th Xinzhou received your mother's letter on the 3rd day of junior middle school, knowing that my son had not returned to his grave. The book of Rao officials paid has not yet arrived. Li Jingyan said that his people are still in Hangzhou. The old man went to Yushan on the seventeenth day, stayed for ten days, passed Yongfeng on the fifth day, and crossed Mount Lead on the fifth day. He could not return the company until he had passed Dexing. The sun is turning hot and there are no clothes. I wonder if your mother can come to Wanling in the last ten days. Today, due to the history of Li Gongliang's book in Fujian Province, he transferred to the west of Zhejiang Province to report peace. It's too late to be all right at home. On April 4th, Father wrote to Mr. and Mrs. Fu Qingchang.

There are "Seals of Alcip" and "Music and Qin Books to Eliminate Summer".

The author describes his experience in his family book. The place names involved are Qianshan, Xinzhou, Yushan, Yongfeng and Dexing. They belonged to Jiangdong Jiankang Road in the Yuan Dynasty, and now belong to Anhui and Jiangxi provinces. Deng Yan, the name of "Qingchang" in the article, was named after the biography of Deng Shi in the History of Yuan Dynasty.

This posting is exquisite in writing, with the tendency of Jin people to walk in style. Its style is light, lively and elegant, which is not lost in the ancient tradition. The pen is subtle, slightly sharp, giving people a sense of pure, healthy and beautiful, rhyme wins and has the law, the artistic level is higher. Hence, Huang called Deng Wenyuan: "Work in writing, and Zhao Wei Gong is equally famous."
