Jiange is located between Dajianshan and Xiaojianshan in the northeast of Jiange County, Sichuan Province. It is the only way for the ancients to enter Shu from Shaanxi and is famous for its steepness. "Sword Pavilion Picture" takes a panoramic composition, which makes people feel like they are in danger. Nearby, a group of businessmen slowly walked to Xie Zuo Mao Dian under the water bank and rocks, overlapping hills and hills behind the shop, winding paths and winding circles, shaded by green trees. On the wooden bridge on the Bank of the river in Feijia, the 35-year-old travelers rushed past. Dangerous Trestle Road is winding and clinging to the cliff according to the mountain situation, which is closely connected with the floating air on the mountainside. Such as practicing flying waterfalls and falling cliffs, pines and cypresses are all over the mountains, and the cliffs stand up to the clouds. Xiongguan dwells in the towering mountains, showing Cui Wei's momentum even more. The layout in the picture is compact. Most of the rocks are rubbed by dry ink, with heavy ink and elegant brushwork. Over Xiongfeng, the light application of light ochre and green ancient wood enrich the level of the picture and add a little beauty to the strange and dangerous scenery of Shudao.
According to Luo Bin's self-title, this picture is drawn by Zhang Daowao, Mr. Shuiwu, who is going to enter Shu and go to Janzhou. Although Luo Bin had never seen the magnificent mountain scenery of Shu Dao, he ingeniously expressed the magnificent and wonderful scenery of Jiange Pavilion described in Li Bai's poem "Shu Dao Difficulty" by virtue of his rich imagination and exquisite pen and ink skills, which is admirable. At the top left of this picture are Weng Fanggang's postscripts and inscriptions by Wu Xilin, Zhang Wentao, Zhao Huaiyu, Shao Jinhan, Sun Xingyan, Song Baochun and Jiang Jian.
When Zhang Daowao entered Shu, he was in the fifty-fifth year of Qianlong (1794). It was deduced by many postscripts that this picture was drawn in August of that year when Luo Bin was 62 years old.
