自题:“黄鹤山樵画法于西溪之流香亭,蜨道人蓝瑛。”后钤“蓝瑛之印”(白文)、“田叔”(朱文)印。画以浅绛设色写秋景山水,巉岩峭壁之下,水阁隐士对语,丛树丹黄相间,营造出深秋温暖而略现萧瑟的意境。虽然画家在自题中称仿王蒙画法,但亦参用了沈周的点染手法,笔致灵动跳宕,代表了作者山水画成熟时期的面貌。

Self-titled: "Huanghe Mountain Woodcut Painting in Xixi Liuxiang Pavilion, the Taoist Lanying." Houjun's "Blue Ying's Seal" (Bai Wen) and "Tian Shu" (Zhu Wen) seals. The paintings depict autumn scenery with shallow silk colors. Under the cliff of silk rock, the water Pavilion hermits talk to each other and the trees are red and yellow, creating a warm and slightly bleak mood in late autumn. Although the painter called Wang Meng's painting method in his title, he also used Shen Zhou's dot-dyeing technique, which was very clever and agile, and represented the maturity of the author's landscape painting.
