顾福生，台湾知名的油画家，1935年出生于中国上海显赫的将军家庭，就读於台湾师范大学美术系，1958年毕业，他曾是「五月画会」的一员，1961年后曾旅居法国巴黎、美国纽约、旧金山和波特兰等地。除油画外，亦有版画、彩墨等作品。
在师大期间与刘国松、韩湘宁及庄颉等人共组“五月画会”，台湾美术界掀起了突破传统的革命性风潮。此后，部分画家更长期居留在国外，努力实践自己艺术创作生涯之梦，顾福生即为其中一典型范例。
顾福生也是顾祝同将军的二公子。
他的绘画风格有著名的蓝色抽象人体，以及不同材质的拼贴画面，多喜用彩度高、鲜亮的点缀颜色。画面构图多充满紧凑的节奏感。1961年12月14日，顾福生以作品「胀」获得巴西「圣保罗国际双年展」的荣誉奖。
他曾是名作家三毛在青年时期的油画老师，并推荐三毛发表第一篇文章在「现代文学」。三毛的文章中描写过他的个性与画室景观。他的好友，亦是台湾作家，白先勇，曾评论顾福生的画为「完全以人为中心，富有文学性，而且具有悲剧精神.
