何怀硕，1941年生，著名画家、杰出的艺术理论家和散文作家。毕业于台北师大，后留学美国并获硕士学位，现在台湾从事美术教学、评论和创作。他的作品深受梁实秋、余光中等文学大家的推崇。他的《孤独的滋味》（人生论）、《苦涩的美感》（艺术论）、《大师的心灵》（画家论），是他著作的精华，被世人称作"怀硕三论"，拥有众多读者。
