作为山东省唯一代表当选为中国美术家协会平面设计艺术委员会委员，兼任国家广告设计职业标准专家组成员，山东省美术家协会理　

2006年，参加由北京光华设计发展基金会主办的第二届“光华龙腾奖—中国设计业十大杰出青年"评选，在中国设计英才网进行投票，获得“2006中国设计业十大杰出青年”称号。获奖评语：以真诚、公益之心服务于设计教育事业。

 Miao Dengyu, a well-known graphic designer in China, was born in Shandong in 1962. He is currently the vice-president, professor and master's supervisor of Shandong Academy of Arts and Crafts. Director of Shandong Artists Association and Director of Plane Arts Committee of Shandong Artists Designer Association.

Projects and Awards

The work "2000" won the ninth National Art Exhibition "Silver Award" and was collected by the Chinese Art Museum. (Gold Award Vacancy)

The work "Insight" won the "Silver Award" at the 10th National Art Exhibition (Gold Award vacancy).

Publicity Picture "Quality" won the first prize in Shandong Art Works Exhibition

The paper was awarded the first prize for outstanding achievements in Shandong Province's art education thesis selection.

The propaganda picture "China Relay Bar" won the "Golden Prize" of Shandong Sports Art Exhibition

Logo Design Wins the First "Golden Award" for Trademark Design in Shandong Province

He has won the National Excellent Teachers, the 12th Shandong Top Ten Outstanding Youth Nominations Award, the fifth batch of provincial young and middle-aged academic backbone, the 2005 China Design Industry Youth 100 List, and the title of Teachers'Ethics Model Soldier and Excellent Teachers of the College.

He served as the judge of the 10th, 11th and 13th National Advertising Festivals, the final judge of the National Design Star Exhibition, the final judge of the 10th East China Regional Design Award, and the judge of the International Poster Biennial Exhibition for East+West University Students.

He was the head of the design team of emblems, mascots, medals and posters of the 11th National Games.

He was awarded the first prize for outstanding achievements in the selection of artistic education papers in Shandong Province. He has published dozens of papers, and has edited or participated in five works.

As the sole representative of Shandong Province, he was elected as a member of the Graphic Design Art Committee of the Chinese Artists Association and a member of the National Advertising Design Professional Standards Expert Group. He is also the director of Shandong Artists Association.

In 2006, he participated in the second "Guanghua Longteng Award - Top Ten Outstanding Youth of China Design Industry" sponsored by Beijing Guanghua Design Development Foundation. He voted on China Design Talent Network and won the title of "Top Ten Outstanding Youth of China Design Industry in 2006". Award-winning comments: To serve the design education with sincerity and public interest.
