上世纪80年代毕业于广州美术学院雕塑系，之后成为广州雕塑院专业雕塑家。90年代前往英国深造，后任香港中文大学专业学院导师，进入二十一世纪后，又重提画笔，续少年时代对水墨画的恋情，现主要在粤港两地从事艺术活动和创作。作品多次在省市全国性美术大展和海外的大型展览中入选及获奖；分别在中国英国及香港举办数次个人作品展览；著有个人作品集及分别刊载在《世界雕塑全集》《20世纪中国城市雕塑》《今日中国美术》《第九届全国美术作品展览获奖作品集》《美术》《美术报》《中国画报》等，得到中国奥委会广州美术馆及国内外收藏家的收藏。
