字松窗，以字行，笔名雪溪、尧仙、健斋，与溥伒、溥僴、溥佐兄弟四人并为书画大家，被称为一门四杰。1928年入松风画会。1936年参加中国画学研究会。23岁即被聘为辅仁大学美术系讲师，教授国画山水。曾兼任北平国立艺专讲师、教授，北京大学美术补习班教授。新中国成立后，参加北京新国画研究会，后为中央文史馆馆员，北京画院画师，北京市人大代表，中国画协、美协会员。1953年加入北京中国画研究会并任执行委员和秘书处主任，1955年被选为理事。1958年入北京中国画院。1956年沿着红军长征的路线写生，与徐燕孙、王雪涛等合作《长征手卷》。先后在北京、天津等地的一些师范、艺术院校讲授国画。1985年被聘任为中央文史研究馆馆员。曾为北京市第七、八、九届人大代表，北京美术家协会、北京书法研究会、中国书法家协会会员、中山书画社顾问和创作委员会副主任、中国老年书画研究会理事。
爱新觉罗·溥佺（溥松窗）的祖父是清道光皇帝第五子惇亲王奕誴，是清朝末代皇帝溥仪的堂弟，他与其他几位兄弟溥儒（溥心畲）、溥伒（溥雪斋）、傅佐等一起，自幼研习文学、书法与绘画艺术。溥佺自幼酷爱书画，由于均从师于当时著名的学者，加之家中汇集了很多历代著名书画家真迹，几位大师耳濡目染、勤奋好学，后都成为学富五车的才子。清王朝的覆灭，并没有给他们带来多大的冲击，相反，他们走出王府，有机会让世人认识他们的才华。溥心畲被公认为当时最著名的书画家之一，世间曾有“南张（张大千）北溥（溥心畲）”的说法。溥雪斋历任辅仁大学美术系系主任，而溥松窗二十三岁就被聘为辅仁大学和国立艺专的教授。他们共创建的松风画会，成为当时有最高艺术成就人士紧集的场所。因为溥字辈兄弟皆出自皇室，他们的绘画作品又都有功力雄厚，色彩古朴典雅，风格清逸脱俗的特点，别具一格，自成流派，被后人称为宫廷画派。先后在国立艺术专门学校、辅仁大学、北平大学、北京画院从事书画指导工作，任职于中国美术家协会、中央文史资料研究馆、北京市人民代表大会、全国政治协商会议等机构。画作题材广泛，尤其擅长马、兰竹、花鸟、山水等。
