陈正明，1944年生，湖北武汉人。1964年毕业于湖北艺术学院美术系附中，后毕业于天津美术学院。曾在北京部队某军任美术干事、副处长等职，天津人民美术出版社《国画家》执行副主编、美术副编审。现为《国家》中国画学术期刊常务副主编、中国美术家协会天津创作中心主任、中国美术家协会会员。擅长水彩画、水墨画、版画，其作品多次参加全国及省市美展或被选送出国展出。个人艺术成就被辑入《中国美术家名人典》、《中华英才》、《世界名人录》等多部重要词典。
