陈世光

 陈世光,(1942.6—),云南省宣威县人,1964年毕业于南京师范大学美术系。历任南京十七中学教师、教导主任、副校长,南京浦口区文化局局长, 江苏省人口宣教中心编辑科长,中国美术家协会会员。先后任中国美术家协会五届、六届理事,1990年起任江苏省美术家协会秘书长,国家一级美术师、教授。兼任《中国美术年鉴》编委,中国书画收藏家协会学术委员,《现代书画家报》艺术顾问、江苏省徐悲鸿研究会常务副会长等职。

艺术简介

 陈世光早年就读于南京师范大学美术系时在吕斯百杨建侯徐明华教授的指导下,经过系统的、刻苦的学习,打下了坚实的绘画基础和书法基础。1964年,经过5年专业学习,作为南师美术系的高材生毕业走上工作岗位。此后,担任美术教育、文化部门行政领导20多年。然而,他并没有放下画笔,不仅培养了很多美术人才,自己还创作了大量的美术作品,其作品多次参加各类画展。

荣誉与成就

 油画《村口》参加首届中国油画艺术展,油画《山村教师》参加江苏省美展并被多家报刊予以刊登、评介。水彩画《蓝天下》入选第八届全国美展作品《蓝蓝的天空白云飘》入选第九届全国美展,水彩画《瓶花》、《冰糖葫芦》、《港口》均入选全国水彩画展。陈世光先生出身书香门第,父亲陈祖基是首批中央文史研究馆馆员。世光从小就受到中国传统书画艺术的熏陶,喜欢写字画画。近年来,在西画创作取得一定成就的基础上,他又转攻中国书画。他借鉴西画的色彩、造型结构等知识融合到中国画创作中去,加上书法的造诣,中国传统绘画的意韵,使其作品别具一格,令人耳目一新。陈世光从自己的喜爱和理想出发选择了动物作为自己的艺术对象。借动物来传达自己的思想感情和美学理想,同时借充满生命活力的动物来充分发挥自己掌握的艺术技巧。世光一个时期以来画过许多生动可爱的狮虎狗马牛,他所描写的生灵形似神肖,活现神气且各具个性:牛的善良敦厚,狗的忠诚机灵,雄狮的机警无敌,就连凶猛的老虎在他的笔下也变得母子相亲爱、温软慈祥,没了虎气有人性。他对动物世界的描绘正是反映了他对人类世界的热爱和对生命的赞颂,最终世光选择了专事画马。在人类的现实生活中马的历史贡献最大,它是定国安邦的强大支柱,是国力强大的象征,因此自古以来历朝君王无不爱骏马。唐明皇御厩名驹骏马多至四十万匹,所以唐人画马名家辈出,载史的就有曹霸、陈闳、韦偃、韩干,尤其是韩干的成就最突出,给予后人的影响启迪也最大,他那“以真马为师”的名言至今仍为画家津津乐道遵循。此后的宋代李公麟,元人任仁发,现代的徐悲鸿更是家喻户晓。不同的时代画家寓于马以不同的时代精神:韩干笔下的马具有雄健而驯善的性格,骨坚肌丰,既显示出大唐帝国强盛的时代精神,也特具神骏的不可征服的气势;徐悲鸿的《奔马》意在“山河百战归民主,铲尽崎岖大道平”;而世光的马在承继前辈大师成就的基础上,着意于无拘无束的自由奔放的精神气质和着力于中西画法的融合,以书法入画法,以墨色塑体积,充分利用宣纸的渗化性能,着笔时灵动潇洒随意,不刻意求工,不着眼于细节的完整真实,尤重马的神情动势,竭力追求马的灵动、奔放自由之情态。令观者得轻松愉快之美感。他画的奔马飞动如风,笔墨中黑白相间相符,虚实相宜,画家十分重影象造型,使马的形象富有力度分量和体积感;画面的置阵布势以马为主体,充满画面空间,在有限的画面上充分利用空白再现无限之深远博大境界,奔马之势有冲出画外之势;可见人类追求自由之迅猛不可阻挡气概。1994年10月,任代表团团长的陈世光率“江苏省美术家代表团”访问俄罗斯。1997年6月,陈世光应美国纽英伦艺术学会和加拿大安大略省中国美术馆邀请赴美、加举办巡展、讲学,并被美国波士顿纽英伦艺术学会聘为艺术顾问。江苏电视台在《大视野———人物志》播放了陈世光专题片《情钟书画、艺融中西》。1998年3月,陈世光应巴林国家文化部邀请赴巴林国家艺术中心举办个人画展。陈世光现任江苏省美术家协会秘书长,兼任中国书画收藏家协会学术委员、中国美术年鉴编委、徐悲鸿画院副院长等职,国家一级美术师、教授、中国美术家协会会员。1998年9月在中国美术家协会第五次全国代表大会上被选为中国美术家协会理事。

 When Chen Shiguang studied in the Department of Fine Arts of Nanjing Normal University in his early years, under the guidance of Professors Lu Sibai, Yang Jianhou and Xu Minghua, he laid a solid foundation of painting and calligraphy through systematic and hard study. In 1964, after five years of professional study, as a senior student in the Department of Fine Arts of Nanshi Normal University, he graduated and went to work. Since then, he has been the executive leader of the art education and culture department for more than 20 years. However, he did not put down his brush. He not only trained a lot of art talents, but also created a large number of art works. His works have participated in various art exhibitions many times.

Oil painting "Village Pass" participated in the first Chinese oil painting art exhibition. Oil painting "Village Teacher" participated in Jiangsu Art Exhibition and was published and evaluated by many newspapers and magazines. Watercolor "Blue Sky" was selected in the 8th National Art Exhibition, "Blue Sky and White Clouds Floating" was selected in the 9th National Art Exhibition. Watercolor "Vase Flowers", "Ice Sugar Hulu" and "Port" were selected in the National Watercolor Exhibition. Mr. Chen Shiguang is a scholarly man, and his father, Chen Zuji, was one of the first librarians of the Central Literature and History Research Library. Shiguang has been influenced by traditional Chinese painting and calligraphy since childhood, and likes to write and draw. In recent years, on the basis of some achievements in Western painting creation, he turned to Chinese painting and calligraphy. He used the knowledge of Western painting, such as color, shape and structure, to merge into the creation of Chinese painting. With the attainment of calligraphy, the artistic charm of Chinese traditional painting made his works unique and refreshing. Chen Shiguang chose animals as his artistic objects from his own love and ideas. Animals are used to convey their thoughts, feelings and aesthetic ideals, while animals full of vitality are used to give full play to their mastery of artistic skills. Shiguang has painted many vivid and lovely lions, tigers, dogs, horses and bulls for a period of time. The creatures he described are like gods and zodiacs. They are vivid and have their own personalities: cattle are kind and kind, dogs are loyal and clever, lions are alert and invincible. Even ferocious tigers become loving, tender and kind to their mothers and sons in his works. Sex. His description of the animal world reflects his love for the human world and his praise for life. Tang Ming Emperor's stables have as many as 400,000 horses, so famous painters of horses in the Tang Dynasty have emerged, including Cao Ba, Chen Hong, Wei Yan and Han Gan, whose achievements are the most prominent, and the most influential and enlightening to future generations. His famous saying that "real horse is the teacher" is still followed by painters. Since then, Li Gonglin of the Song Dynasty, Ren Renfa of the Yuan Dynasty, and Xu Beihong of the modern age are well known. Painters of different times reside in horses with different spirit of the times: Han Gan's horses have a strong and docile character, strong and muscular, which not only shows the strong spirit of the Tang Empire, but also shows the unconquerable momentum of the noble; Xu Beihong's "Horse Running" is intended to "return to democracy in all wars, and shovel up rugged roads and plains"; Shiguang's horse, on the basis of inheriting the achievements of his predecessors, is intent on the unconstrained and free spirit and the integration of Chinese and Western painting methods. He uses calligraphy as his painting method, shapes volume with ink, makes full use of the permeability of Xuan Paper, and is flexible and unrestrained in his brushwork, and does not focus on the integrity of details. Truth, especially the expression and momentum of horses, strives to pursue the agility and freedom of horses. Make the viewer feel relaxed and happy. In October 1994, Chen Shiguangde, head of the delegation, visited Russia as a delegation of Jiangsu artists. In June 1997, Chen Shiguang visited the United States and Canada at the invitation of the New England Art Society of America and the Ontario Chinese Art Museum of Canada for exhibitions and lectures, and was hired as an art consultant by the New England Art Society of Boston, USA. Jiangsu TV broadcasted Chen Shiguang's feature film "Love Calligraphy and Painting, Art Melting Chinese and Western" in "Big Vision - Character Chronicle". In March 1998, at the invitation of Bahrain's Ministry of Culture, Chen Shiguang went to Bahrain's National Art Center to hold a personal painting exhibition. Chen Shiguang is currently Secretary-General of Jiangsu Artists Association. He is also an academic member of the Chinese Calligraphy and Painting Collectors Association, an editorial committee of the Chinese Art Yearbook, and a vice-president of Xu Beihong Painting Academy. He is a national first-level artist, professor and member of the Chinese Artists Association. In September 1998, he was elected as the director of the Chinese Artists Association at the Fifth National Congress of the Chinese Artists Association.
