Morriso was born in Brange, France, to a prestigious official family, and died in Paris, France, in 1895. His grandfather was a famous painter, Fragonal, and his father was a senior officer. She and her sister loved painting since childhood and were widely guided by artists. Colo had a great influence on them (1862-1868, she studied painting under Colo's guidance), and accepted Colo's advice to follow nature. Moriso met Manet in 1860 and married his brother. She had close contact with Manet and influenced each other. Under her influence, Manet paid attention to the study of light and color.
