刘靖国，1947年12月生，河北省三河市人，1988年北京画院王明明工作室研修班毕业，中国美术家协会会员、河北书协会员、河北省连环画研究会会员、副研究馆员。历任三河市文体局副局长、书画院副院长、文化馆馆长。现任廊坊市美协副主席、廊坊画院人物画创作室艺术指导，三河市美协主席。

1981年7月连环画《民兵连长》获《华北民兵》绘画二等奖。

1992：TF8月由河北美协、北京画院主办的“刘靖国画展”在中国美术馆展出．作品《花之魂》被中国美术馆收藏。

1992年11月《回娘家》入选中国美协主办的“黄河画展”。四件作品被国家黄河博物馆收藏。

1993年10月《想当年》获中国美协、书协主办的“国际书画博览会”优秀奖。

1998年7月《山乡十月》获“98河北燕赵群星奖”三等奖。

2000年1月天津人民美术出版社出版《刘靖国画集》

2001年5月，作品《回娘家》、《老井》入选全国政协书画室、北京画院主办的“王明明工作室研修生十八人作品展”在中国美术馆展出。

2007年12月《静静的吊脚楼》入选中国美协主办“2007年全国中国画作品展”。

2008年5月《亲情》入选中国美协主办“全国首届中国画线描艺术展”。

2008年9月《春的召唤》入选中国美协主办“2008年全国中国画作品展”。

2009年6月《冷月无声》入选中国美协主办“2009年全国中国画作品展”

多件作品被《美术》、《国画家》、《中国连环画》、《中国文化报》、《新华文摘》刊用。

省级以上出版社出版连环画单行本十余部。
