宋彦军，出生于河南，1993年-1997年就读于天津美术学院国画系，主攻工笔人物。中国美术家协会会员，现为中国美术家协会创作高层研究人物画创作室画家、中国书画研究院画家、河南画院特聘画家。中国艺术研究院创作研究员、中国画院画家。文化部青联美术工作委员会委员，中国工笔画协会理事。
