梁照堂（石梁)，字天岳，号楚庭。汉族。1946年生，广东顺德人，著名国画家、书法金石家、美术理论家。国家一级美术师教授。擅行草，善作巨幅草书，亦书大爨碑体及篆籀、甲骨等。国画以墨鸽与金石大写意花鸟为著，兼写人物。诗、书、画、印皆追“老，重、拙、大”，风格古厚，凝朴苍辣。
幼从冯瘦菜学国画、书法和篆刻，1960年考入广州美术学院附中学习西画兼习国画，1981年入广州画院潜心于中国画及书法篆刻的研究和创作，后修读于中央美术学院及浙江美院。应邀为天安门城楼、人民大会堂、中南海创作大幅国画及书法。曾应聘任教于广州美术学院、中山大学、华南艺大诸院校。艺术上曾受点于李苦禅、蒋兆和。多年来国画深得杨善深、赖少其，书法深得商承祚、容庚诸师指导。艺术交流出访美、加、德、西、法、意、比、奥、荷、西、星、马诸国，并多次在温哥华、纽约等地个展，其国画书法作为广州市政府赠外国姐妹城市，如法国里昂、加拿大温哥华、美国洛杉矶等市政府及赠如新西兰总督、泰国总理等政要的艺术作品。
作品入选全国及广东省和广州市各类书法作品展览及"中国书画联展"等，1979年举办个人书画作品集，获全国"九成宫杯"书法大赛优秀奖、"海峡杯"中华书法大赛佳作奖、"黄河碑林国际征稿"碑林奖等。被收入《当代青年书法家百人庥》《中国青年篆刻家作品集》《中外书法家作品选集》等，并在国内外多种刊物发表。历年获全国性美术作品一、二等奖，多次入选全国、省美展，书法展。上世纪六七十年代以逆光油画、宣传画影响国内画坛，八九十年代以国画墨鸽、金石大写意花鸟，巨草狂草著于海内外。美术书法一千多幅、论文九十多篇发表在全国及港澳台、国外共130多种报刊上，书法被镌刻于国内多处碑林。作品赴欧、美、东南亚诸国展出，被中国美术馆等收藏。出版有《梁照堂国画集》、《梁照堂书法集》。
现为中国美术家协会会员，中国书法家协会会员，广东青年书法家协会副主席，广东省书法家协会理事、广州市美术家协会副主席，广州市书法家协会常务理事，羊城书法研究会理事，广州画院秘书长、理论部主任。广州文史馆馆员、广州诗社社委，华南理工大学艺术学院兼职教授、广州大学美术学院客座教授，美国华盛顿州中华美术家协会艺术顾问等。入选《中国当代国画家辞典》《中国当代书法家辞典》《当代篆刻家大辞典》、《中国历代书法家大辞典》及英国剑桥《国际名人传记辞典》。
