孟繁禧书法作品

1988年在“九成宫杯”全国书法大赛中，从4万余幅参赛作品中脱颖而出荣获特等奖，翌年在团中央和全国青联主办的“秦声杯”全国青年书法大赛中又获得了最高奖项。

在中央电视台书法技法系列讲座中主讲《欧体楷书技法》，编著有《如何临习欧体九成宫碑》、《行书入门》、《虞恭公碑解析字帖》及《书法创作大典——楷书卷》等十余部专著、字帖。

从2004年12月开始，领导海淀书协先后举办“海淀书协会员优秀作品展”，精选出优秀作品102幅，极大鼓舞新团队的士气。

2005年，筹备历时一年的“一勺”书法展得以成功举行，为优选的17名中青年书法家发行作品单行本。

2006年“墨华集”第三届海淀书协会员展为会员提供又一个广阔的平台交流学习。2006年9月底，领导海淀书协协助海淀文联顺利举办“纪念长征胜利70周年大型书画展”。

2008年8月，“一步一个脚印”书法展在北京观音堂文化大道敦谊画廊展出，其中40余件书法佳作，以楷书、隶书为主。

2009年6月，获“北京中青年文艺工作者德艺双馨奖”。

2011年10月，文化部主管主办：恭王府艺术中心举办"辛卯年孟繁禧书法艺术巡展"，展出作品90幅，中国书法家协会\北京市书法家协会\中国报业协会主要领导出席,获得京城社会各界好评!

2011年11月,由北京永泰和-大树下画廊策展，由北京亚太精英文化传媒机构承办、北京市书法家协会、江苏美术馆主办举办“孟繁禧金陵书法艺术展”，江苏文化艺术界名流云集。孟繁禧楷书艺术得到金陵画派同仁的一致认可。展出取得了圆满成功。

 Meng Fanxi is a famous contemporary calligrapher in China. Born in Beijing in 1954, Zhangqiu, Shandong Province. He is currently the director of China Calligrapher Association, professor of Calligraphy Training Center of China Calligrapher Association, vice chairman of Beijing Calligrapher Association and chairman of Haidian Calligrapher Association. Since childhood, he has devoted himself to learning calligraphy. He has been taught by Mr. Kang Yong, especially in regular scripts in European style. He works in the National Peking Theatre.

Personal Profile

In 1988, he won the first prize in the National Calligraphy Competition of "Jiucheng Palace Cup" from more than 40,000 entries. The next year, he won the highest prize in the National Youth Calligraphy Competition of "Qinsheng Cup" sponsored by the League Central Committee and the National Youth Federation.

In the CCTV series of lectures on calligraphy techniques, he gave lectures on "Euro-style regular script techniques". He compiled more than ten monographs and posters such as "How to learn Euro-style 90% Palace tablets", "Introduction to running books", "Yu Gong Gong Gong Gong Gong Gong Gong Gong Shi" and "Calligraphy Creation Canon-regular script volume".

Beginning in December 2004, the leadership of Haidian Book Association has organized "Haidian Book Association Member Excellent Works Exhibition" successively, and selected 102 excellent works, which greatly inspired the morale of the new team.

In 2005, the one-spoon Calligraphy Exhibition, which took one year to prepare, was successfully held, and 17 young and middle-aged calligraphers were selected to issue single editions of their works.

In 2006, the 3rd Haidian Book Association Member Exhibition of Mohua Collection provided another broad platform for members to exchange and learn. At the end of September 2006, the leading Haidian Calligraphy Association assisted the Haidian Literary Union in successfully organizing a large-scale painting and calligraphy exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the victory of the Long March.

In August 2008, the "Step by Step, One Footprint" Calligraphy Exhibition was exhibited at Dunyi Gallery, Guanyintang Cultural Avenue, Beijing. More than 40 excellent calligraphy works were mainly regular scripts and official scripts.

In June 2009, he won the "Beijing Young and Middle-aged Literature and Art Workers De Yi Shuangxin Award".

In October 2011, the director of the Ministry of Culture sponsored: The Gongwangfu Art Center held the "Meng Fanxi Calligraphy Art Tour Exhibition in Xinmao Year", exhibiting 90 works. The main leaders of the Chinese Calligraphers Association and Beijing Calligraphers Association and China Newspaper Association attended the exhibition, which won high praise from all walks of life in Beijing.

In November 2011, the exhibition was curated by Yongtaihe-Dashuxia Gallery, Beijing Asia-Pacific Elite Cultural Media Agency, Beijing Calligraphers Association and Jiangsu Art Museum. The "Mengfanxi Jinling Calligraphy Art Exhibition" was hosted by Jiangsu Cultural and Art circles. Meng Fanxi's regular script art has been unanimously recognized by Jinling Painting School colleagues. The exhibition was a great success.
