张源，又名原，男，汉族，1932年生于北京。自幼酷爱书画，1958年入中央美术学院工农班，1960年入中央美术学院片画系学习。70年代始潜心书法艺术，擅长行楷，初学柳，后习褚；行草宗王右军，复学北碑。善取褚遂良之长，刻意追求朴拙宽厚、秀丽古雅之书风。作品参加在日本举办的“中日书法联展”，香港“中日书法艺术交流展”、“中国.新加坡书法联展”、“国际书法展览”以及其他各类书法展和在国内外报刊上发表，或被博物馆、纪念馆收藏。亦擅版画及国画。版画作品入选全国第六、七、八届版画展，为中国美术馆等收藏。现为中国书法家协会理事，中国书法家协会展览部主任，中国书法家协会评审委员会委员，中国书法家协会副编审，中国美术家协会会员，中国版画家协会会员。作品有《乌龙入蜀》、《鱼乐》等。出版有《张源画集》
