李世元(1938.2—)字古昱，民族汉，山东文登人，毕业于辽东学院，先为元宝区文化馆副研究馆员、中国美术家协会会员、辽宁中国画研究理事丹东美术家协会名誉主席、丹东书画研究院院长。从事艺术创作40多年，早期从事连环画，宣传画、年画创作。年画《鸭绿江上友谊歌》就是这一时期作品。八十年代以来逐渐研究中国画创作，部分作品参加国家级画展并获奖。中国画《童年》入选全国体育画展，中国画《月牙五更》获1993年全国书画大赛三等奖，中国画《风雪满洲》入选纪念抗日战争和反法西斯胜利50周年画展，此画被中国人民抗日战争纪念馆收藏。
