吴正斌，1942年生于湖北省沙市市（现改名为荆州市）；1965年毕业于广州美术学院油画系；1983年回广州美术学院工作；任美术教育研究室主任、广东省高校美术与设计教育专业委员会常务副会长、现任广州美术学院教授、硕士研究生导师；　　毕业后绘制巨幅街头画和搞各种展览并先后被邀请到延安革命历史记念舘等全国各地博物馆、纪念馆从事美术创作；　　油画《阳台》、水彩画《酥油茶》、《轮回》、《圣殿》等入选全国美展、中国美术舘收藏；
