傅舟，1959年12月生。1983年毕业于西南师范大学，获文学学士学位。1989年9月至1990年7月在北京大学哲学系进修美学。大学毕业后，一直在高校执教书法、国画（花鸟）、文艺理论等课程。现为四川美术学院教务处副处长、副教授、硕士生导师，中国书法家协会会员、西泠印社社员、中华美学学会会员、巴渝印社副社长、海天印社副社长、重庆书协理事、重庆书协篆刻委员会副主任、重庆书协创评委、重庆美协会员、重庆国画院画师、重庆文艺评论家协会会员。1997年被中共重庆（直辖）市委、市政府授予“优秀青年文艺人才”称号。
主要学术科研情况：
1999年参加西泠印社第四届全国篆刻评展获优秀奖；1999年参加全国第七届书法篆刻展览；2000年入选全国第八届中青年书法篆刻家作品展；2000年参加西泠印社第二届国际篆刻书法作品大展获西泠印社奖；2002年获“重庆市书法奖”；2002年获“首届中国书法兰亭奖”创作提名奖；2005年获“徐悲鸿美术奖”银奖（书法）。
