陈勇劲，男，生于中国武汉。毕业于湖北美术学院。现就职于湖北省美术院油画、水彩画创作研究室，室副主任。中国美术家协会会员，二级美术师。1994年10月：《静》入选第八届全国美展；1995年10月：《青花瓷》获95中国杭州水彩画大展“银奖”；1996年4月：《静》获第三届全国水彩画、粉画展“银奖”；1997年10月：《高山流水》获第四届中国体育美展“三等奖”；1999年10月：《锦绣中华》入选第九届全国美展，获第九届湖北省美术作品展“银奖”。2000年10月：《物》参加第五届全国水彩画、粉画展；2001年7月：《灯》获庆祝建党八十周年全国美展“优秀作品奖”；获湖北省建党八十周年美展“金奖”；2001年10月：《棋》入选第五届全国体育美展；2002年9月：《电动机之二》获第六届全国水彩画、粉画展“优秀奖”；2002年12月：《写生风景》入选全国水彩画写生精品展；2003年8月：《年轻人》参加首届中国小幅水彩画展；2004年7月：《清风》获第十届湖北省美术作品展“金奖”；入选第十届全国美术作品展览。
