许宝忠，1951年3月生于成都，1977年毕业于四川美术学院雕塑系，1983年结业于四川美术学院雕塑系研究生班，2003年前在四川美协任职。现为中国美术家协会会员、中国雕塑学会理事，任职上海油画雕塑院、一级美术师。
