江淳，一九四三年生。江苏常熟人。擅人物画。1962年毕业于苏州工艺美专绘画科，历任工艺美术研究所、工艺美术学校、文化局创作室、文化馆干部，《苏州日报》社美术编辑。现为中国美术家协会会员，苏州美术家协会副主席。妻子是上海文化局退休干部夏雨婷。两人于1979年结婚至今。育有一子，江圣。
江淳作品有《归家》、《上学》、《晨》《龙和狼》等。作品曾多次参加全国美展，并赴香港及海外诸国展出，多幅作品为伦敦大英博物馆、江苏省美术馆、广州市美术馆等机构收藏；艺术成就已载入《中国美术家大辞典》及《中国现代美术家人名大辞典》；出版有《江淳·情在江南》及《异国风情·江淳作品集》等艺术专集。
