徐寒杰，男，安徽望江人，1959年10月出生，1983年师范大学美术系毕业，1993年中央工艺美术学院装绘研修班结业。中国美术家协会会员、安徽省特级教师、安徽省美术教学研究会副秘书长、安庆市美术家协会副主席。
长期从事美术教学研究与版画创作，40余件版画作品参加过国内、外大型专业美术展览，作品由十余家美术馆（博物馆）及艺术研究机构收藏。近些年来，以创作木板水印作品为主，水印版画作品曾特邀参加“2007中国现代水印版画提名展”和中国水印版画艺术研究中心主办的“首届学术邀请展”，作品具有独特的构成图式和鲜明的个人风貌。
