王奂(1925.6—1996.8)男，汉族，曾用名王孚，笔名意山。山东鄄城人。擅长版画、中国画。自幼爱书法，深得家传。始从父学颜楷，复从祖父学欧、赵，并涉及行书。1940年参加八路军任宣传员，学习于冀鲁豫区美术训练班，1941年至1942年两次就学于冀鲁豫军区美术训练班，后随军画抗日宣传壁画。解放战争期间曾致力于“兵画兵”活动，编印《连队画友》油印画报。1950年入西北艺术学院美术系进修。曾任任山西省美工室美术创作员。1956年转业后历任山西群众艺术馆副馆长、山西艺术学院美术系主任等职。业余多临习“二王”碑帖，并从王绍尊学篆刻，改习缪篆。1968年后又从叶访樵学隶书，从李滋煊学习书法史与篆刻，1974年始学草书，遍临三希堂、澄清堂诸帖及孙过庭《书谱》。
近年浅涉章草后，复深研宋代苏、黄及明代祝枝山。书作笔墨流畅，追求雄强飞动之美。作品多次参加省、市书法作品展览及在报刊发表。亦擅国画。曾任中国美术家协会山西分会副秘书长、山西书法家协会秘书长，为中国书法家协会会员，中国美术家协会会员，中国老年书画研究会会员，中国长城书画学会会员。现为山西美术院离休画家。作品有《黄河飞瀑》、《长城景色》、《黄河水电站》等。发表有《关于壁画的研究》等文。辞条辑入《中国当代美术家人名录》、《中国现代美术家人名大辞典》、《中国当代艺术界名人录》等辞典。
