文国璋，生于四川省江津县，祖籍江苏淮安。擅长油画、版画。1961年毕业于中央美术学院附中。1965年毕业于中央美术学院油画系，1980年毕业于中央美术学院版画系研究生班。历任中国美术家协会展览部编辑，中央美术学院版画系副教授、中国美术家协会会员、中国油画学会会员、中国版画家协会会员。

1978年套色石版画《我们的主义一定是不变了》入选第6届全国版画展；《中国美术》1979年创刊号发表
1979年首次赴新疆旅行写生，作水彩70余件，并在乌鲁木齐举办写生作品展。
1981-82年先后在长沙、哈密、西宁、哈尔滨举办个人画展。
1983年套色石版画《时代的强音》被选制成马克思逝世100周年纪念邮票发行。
1984年油画《牧羊女》画稿赴日参加现代中国油画家展；油画《塔吉克姑娘的喜日》参加建国35周年美展，获北京美协荣誉奖，并被北京美协收藏；套色石版画《我认的主义一定是不变了》入选中央美术学院版画系赴美国马里兰艺术学院版画展；《绘画构图法基础》由湖南美术出版社出版；为王蒙文革后第1部小说《淡灰色的眼珠》作插图8幅及装帧设计；套色石版画《共赴巴黎》获北京美协美术荣誉奖。
1985年参加《半截子美展》。
1986年撰写《功力见于控制－谈画面综合结构的完整性》编入浙江人民美术出版社《美术五十讲》一书。
1988年连环画《燃烧的黑橡树》参加华北地区5省市连环画作品选，并获优秀作品奖。
1991年为世界名人《达芬奇传》作油画插图20幅，江苏教育出版社出版。
1992年油画《女人体》、《栓马桩》、《白色舞裙》等赴港展出，并由香港收藏家收藏；主讲《水彩画及其技法》录像由全国书画函授学院制作。
1994年主讲《水粉画教学》录像（一套三册）由中央美术学院电教中心制作。
