戚单（1919—1992.11）浙江诸暨人。擅长版画、中国画。1938年赴延安，在鲁迅艺术文学院工作。1941年入鲁艺美术系学习。抗战胜利后赴张家口，任华北联合大学文学院美术系教员兼文艺研究室研究院。后在华北人民政府教育部工作。新中国建立后，历任中央美术学院绘画系讲师、中央戏剧学院舞台美术系讲师、北京艺术学院美术系教授、版画教研室主任、北京师范学院美术系主任。主要作品有《收获》、《梳妆》、《学文化》、《防旱备荒》、《当年南泥湾》、《向往》等
