蔺宝钢(1962.6—)河南人。擅长壁画、水彩画。1985年在西安美术学院；毕业后到西安建筑科技大学任教至今。现任西安建筑科技大学艺术学院副院长，教授，博士，博士生导师，雕塑学科学术带头人，《雕塑》杂志编委，《当代艺术》杂志编委，西建大城市雕塑研究所所长．中国美术家协会会员，西安市城市雕塑委员会专业委员，全国艺术硕士专业学位（MFA）教育指导委员会美术与艺术设计分委会委员，西安水彩画会会长，陕西省民盟工作艺术委员会副主任。
代表作品有28米高大型锻铜雕塑《老子》圣像在国内屈指可数、125米长大型雕塑《千秋雄关》实属罕见、《塞上明珠》、《世纪争辉》、《白鹿群雕》、《翔》、《大秧歌》、《千秋》、《西部风情》、《大秦腔》、《盛世》等城雕科研项目42项.完成城雕作品一百三十余件（座），先后参加全国七届、九届﹑十届、十一届及《全国首届壁画大展》、《全国首届水彩艺术作品展》等国家级展览十次。
大型雕塑《千秋雄关》获全国第三届城市雕塑成就展46件无级别优秀作品大奖（最高奖）。
《老子》圣像先后被新华社、《人民日报》、香港《文汇报》、北京电视台、香港风凰卫视等三十余家报刊二十余家电视台报道。城雕作品已立于陕西、江西、山西、甘肃、宁夏、河南等十五余省市地区。
水彩画代表作品有《正午的阳光》、《暮冬》、《融》等多次发表于《中国水彩》、《水彩艺术》类专业杂志。获得国家及省部级奖十二项。
现已完成专著五部，论文四十余篇，完成陕西省基金项目五项．多幅作品及论文发表于《雕塑》，《装饰》，《美术大观》，《艺术家》，《中国水彩》，《水彩艺术》等多种学术专业刊物．
