陶天月，男，汉族，1931年2月生，安徽长丰人。斋号冷香居，自幼酷爱书画诗文，1949年入华东大学，后在安徽省文联一直从事书画创作，是一位著名的国画家、版画家、书法家，国画创作以花鸟、山水为主，以黄山为师，继承新安画派，其作品构图清新严谨，笔墨浑厚，具有民族风格。书法擅行草，潇洒俊美，墨迹遍及全国。版画，以赖少其大师为首，创作了一批全国影响很大的巨幅版画，被誉为“新徽派版画”的开拓者。曾应日本、美国、加拿大、新加坡、香港邀请举办个人书画展览。1999年曾出访西欧法国、意大利、西班牙等7国。许多作品在日本、法国、德国、韩国等二十几个国家展出并为日本、南斯拉夫艺术馆、中国美术馆、天津艺术馆、北京人民大会堂收藏。其作品和简历被收入《中国美术家人名辞典》、《中国新文艺大系》等二十多部典籍。
现为中国书法家协会会员，中国美术家协会会员，中国版画家协会会员，安徽书法家协会名誉主席，安徽省美术家协会顾问，黄山画会副会长，安徽书画网顾问，一级美术师，教授，享受国务院授予特殊津贴。
