黄新光，男，1959年生于广西武宣。广西艺术学院黄格胜的学生、弟子，现为省美协会员，中国艺术研究院燕京画院（北京）名誉院长，中国历史博物馆画廊艺术指导委员会委员、客座教授，中国沈阳艺海拍卖代理中心特级画家，“中国实力派画家”称号，香港国际拍卖有限公司“特约画师”。作品常参加国内外大展并获奖，三十多幅力作精品被国内外人士和博物馆收藏，简历及作品载入多部典籍，2008年11月参加中国书画报社与香港举办的“中国山水画相约香江”画展中获铜奖。
