福建永泰人，毕业于福建师范大学美术系。擅长中国画山水、花鸟、人物，作品参加全国各项大型美展并多次获奖。发表了大量美术作品，作品既具有深厚的传统功力，又能充分体现当代的笔墨精神。强调以书法入画，用线用墨追求雄浑朴厚，并能够通过笔墨折射出作者对自然万物的哲学思考。近年来，其作品逐渐超越固有的法度，更多地注入了画家自身的情感因素，呈现出独特的风貌，颇受同行和藏家的关注。现为中国美术家协会会员，福建省画院专职画师。
