霍辉民，生于一九五八年十一月十三日，甘肃省兰州市人，一九八二年至八三年在西北师范大学美术系进修结业，一九八四年至八六年就读中国书画函授大学毕业，现为中国美术家协会会员，甘肃美术家协会理事。作品《情圣》在首届中国丝绸之路文化节美术作品展览中获奖；作品《遥远的期待》在庆祝建国四十三周年全省美展中获二等奖；作品《烛光》曾参建西北五省展览和香港巡回展，并获八二年“五二三”之省级美展一等奖；作品《吉祥的太阳》之一获二○○二年“五二三”全国美展三等奖；作品《吉祥的太阳》之二入选参加二○○四年邓小平“诞辰”一百周年全国美展；作品《归》参加了第三届全国油画展；作品《采花的季节》一九九五年被中国美术书法界名人名作博览收录；二○一一年十二月二十五日香港书画报整版报道《霍哥其人其画》；部分作品曾被美国、日本友人收藏。
