吴同彦，1954年生于安徽省合肥市。1982年毕业于安徽师范大学美术系中国画专业，2003年获中央美术学院硕士学位。现为安徽师范大学美术系、学院教授，国画系主任、硕士研究生导师中国美术家协会会员。
历程
1981年·毕业创作《喜雨》入选建党60周年全国美展。
1986年·作品《徐吾犯之妹选夫》入选第六届全国美展。
1987年·作品《群鹤》、《竹林仕女》参加华东六省一市名家扇面册页画展。并赴香港展出。
1991年·出版中华民间故事《重阳登高》精装连环画册，并获国家少儿优秀读物一等奖。
·为香港获益出版事业有限公司《唐诗金榜》、《古诗金榜》绘制插图。
1992年·作品《古人诗意图》赴台湾参加两岸美术观摩展。
1993年·作为访问学者赴日本。作品《白鹭》等在日本参展。
1996年·为《中华三德歌》一书插图，荣获国家“五个一工程”奖。
1996年·在《美术》杂志等刊物发表“中国画‘三远’再探”，“中国画素描教学中应注意的若干问题”，“花鸟画的重品特点”等数篇学术论文。
2000年·为安徽省合肥市青风阁绘制大型风俗画《古庐州市景图》（2500cm×200cm绢本）。
2001年·考入中央美术学院硕士研究生班，并获硕士学位，《工笔人物写生》作为课堂优秀作业被美院国画系收藏。
·为纪念李白诞生1300周年，国家邮政局特发行《李白诗选》特种邮资明信片一套六枚。接受中央电视台采访，并在中央电视四台国际频道播出。
2002年·作品《空间》入选第五届全国工笔画大展，获铜奖。
·作品《无题》收录《现代中国人物画全集》大型画册。
2004年·创作（合作）《安徽历代文化名人图》，入选2004“首届全国壁画大展”、“第十届全国美术作品展览”。
·插图《东方圣经故事》入选“第十届全国美术作品展览”。
·绘制大套中国邮政邮资明信片《安徽历史文化名人》三十枚。
2005年·绘制大套中国邮政邮资明信片《安徽历代名人》三十枚。
·《安徽历代文化名人图》（合作）（145cm×710cm）获“第十六届国际造型艺术家协会代表大会·美术特展”金奖。
2007年·《安徽凤阳农村联产承包责任制》（合作）入选全国100幅重大历史题材美术创作工程。
·《同窗》（合作）入选2007·中国金陵百家中国画展。
