吴映强(1952.3—)四川广元人。1977年毕业于四川美术学院中国画系。当代国画家，中国美术家协会会员，国家一级美术师，四川省美术家协会副主席，绵阳市美术家协会主席。
1989年国画《原上草》获得全国第七届美展铜奖，1990年国画《银装素裹》获国际首届加拿大“枫叶杯”大赛特别奖，1999年《大江之源》获中国文化部颁发的全国“群星奖”美术大赛银奖，国画《十面埋伏》2000年获中国文化部举办的全国群众美术大赛金奖，1997年接受中央电视台（CCTV-7）文艺部题为《吴映强的西藏情结》的专访。
作品《小俙客》参加第二届全国青年美展、《离太阳最近的人》参加第八届全国美展、《卧薪尝胆》参加首届中国画人物大展。
