刘生展(1938.10—)别名塞城，内蒙古丰镇人。擅长中国画。河北省张北县文化馆馆长。张家口市美协名誉主席，一级画师。作品有《赛马去》、《草原女民》、《民族英雄岳飞》等。出版《怎样画马》、《三国志人物绘卷》及《马的描法》等专著，并获亚洲国际艺术书刊交流展优秀画册奖，现为臻纪签约艺术家。
现为中国美术家协会会员，国家一级美术师，中华炎黄文化研究会会员，中日美术交流协会会员，张家口市美术家协会名誉主席，察哈尔书画院名誉院长，现为臻纪签约艺术家。
刘生展是国内外颇具影响的画马名家之一。其作品以草法行笔，驰毫泼墨、率意赋形，曲折生趣、流畅生韵，展现出自己的艺术语言。2010年河北省以其名字建立了第一个县级个人美术馆——刘生展艺术馆。

作品年表
1964年，创作《赛马去》，入选第四届全国美术展览。作品由中国外文出版社《中国文学》(英文版)选载，介绍于国外。
1965年，在天津美院参加河北省直属美术创作组，创作《草原女民兵》，入选由中国美协主办的《华北年画、版画展览》。
1966年，随河北美术观摩团出席全国美术观摩会议，期间受到周恩来、刘少奇、李富春、李先念等党和国家领导人在人民大会堂的接见。
1973—1988年，创作《多为农业选骏马》、《草原盛会》、《塞外新泉》、《草原姊妹》、《骏马飞腾》、《你追我赶》、《英姿飒爽》、《跃马英姿》、《岳飞》、《郑成功》、《三国演义》、《八大锤》、《隋唐演义》、《水浒人物》、《杨家将》、等90余件作品，分别在人民美术出版社、天津、河北、河南、湖南、内蒙等美术出版社出版发行。
1977年，获北京军区《华北民兵》美术通讯员一等奖。
1977—1988年，创作连环画《好儿媳》、《两个鸡蛋》、《草原铁骑》、《骏马飞腾》、《挂帅出征》、《破釜沉舟》等，在河北美术出版社出版发行。
1983年，创作《郑成功》，入选由中国美协主办的《中堂画展》。
1985年，河北电视台拍摄电视专题片《一身风尘满目清——记画家刘生展》，进行播放。
1989年，编绘《怎样画马》画册，在日本东京美术出版社出版发行。
1990年，创作《奔腾》，入选《第二十五届亚洲现代美展》，在日本东京展出。
1990年，创作20幅水墨马作品，参加日本东京九段画廊举办的《中国画马名家联展》。
1991年，创作《三国志人物绘卷》画册，在日本东京MPC美术出版社出版发行，1992年重版发行，日本《朝日新闻》、《读卖新闻》都载文介绍该画册，获《亚洲艺术书刊交流展》优秀画册奖。
1994年，创作《春雪马蹄寒》，入选《第二十九届亚洲现代美术展》。
1995年，编绘《马的百态》画册，在日本东京岩崎美术出版社出版发行。
1996年，创作《追捕》，获深圳《全国蓝盾书画大赛》一等奖。
1997—1999年，应中国外交部驻外机构管理处之邀，创作《万马奔腾》、《万里长城》等4幅作品，为我国驻英国、俄罗斯、意大利、立陶宛领事馆陈列收藏。
2002年，编绘《马的描绘》画册，在日本东京MPC美术出版社出版发行。
2002年，在黄山市举办《刘生展画马展》。
2003年，编绘《画羊集》画册，在13本东京MPC美术出版社出版发行。
2006年创作大型壁画《合符釜山会盟图》。
