张采芹画作

张采芹（1901－1984），著名国画家，教育活动家。原名学荣，重庆市江津人。青少年时期就读于江津聚奎小学、江津中学，1925年毕业于上海美术专科学校国画系。先后在四川美专、南虹艺专、成都高师、四川大学等大专院校及女师、石室、树德等中等学校从事美术教学工作。
张采芹少时家贫，但他聪明过人，自学成才。16岁时考入江津聚奎中学读书后，苦读不辍，每年以优异的成绩获得学校的奖学金并免收学费。
1922年，21岁的张采芹考取了上海美术专科学校，师从刘海粟、王震、江小鹣等大师。1925年，他以第一名的成绩毕业回到四川。在成都，张采芹致力于培养艺术人才。他筹资创办了南虹艺术专科学校，还先后应聘担任了四川美专、四川艺专、成都高师、四川大学、四川师大、成都女师、南虹艺专、树德中学等10多所高、中等院校的美术教授。为四川和我国培养了大批艺术人才，桃李满天下。
抗战期间，无数人士、机构纷纷迁来四川。成都更是成了文化艺术精英的云集之处。1941年初，为了宣传抗战救国，一群年轻人自筹钱银，在祠堂街挂起了“四川美术协会”的牌子，供职于银行的青年画家张采芹担任常务理事和“总务”。
由于张采芹他们的奔波操劳，成都曾热热闹闹举办了许多画展。其中不少个人画展更是引起轰动，如画家张大千、徐悲鸿、吴作人、傅抱石、潘天寿、黄君璧、赵少昂、关山月、马万里、廖冰如、吴一峰、岑学恭等，都先后在这里一显身手办过画展。其中，张大千一人就在成都举行了6次大规模展览。众多珍贵作品的出现，给蓉城的大街小巷注入一股清新之气，吸引着全国越来越多书画界人士的慕名前来。
兵荒马乱年代，相当一部分才华横溢的画家落魄来川后，不要说举办画展，就连吃饭都困难。张采芹作为当时四川美协的负责人，表现出惊人的豪爽热情，大尽地主之谊。如1942年2月，著名雕塑家刘开渠来蓉后，在春熙路等地创作《孙中山铜像》、《抗日无名英雄》等雕塑，因通货膨胀，其作品完成到一半就不得不停下。刘开渠整天为经费疲于奔命，他典当了手头所有值钱的东西，还面临破产的危险。张采芹十分着急，他三番五次去找当时的成都市市长余中英、四川美协名誉会长张群等，甚至一次次拿出自己的钱帮助刘开渠。终于解决了他的燃眉之急，使他完成了作品。近60年来，刘开渠这两尊雕塑成了蓉城厚重历史文化的标志性塑像。

1942年夏，远在昆明的潘天寿想在成都办画展，由于交通不便，潘自己不能来成都，他尝试着提出将几十件作品寄来，请四川美协特别是张采芹全部代办。张答应了，他冒着暑热四处奔走，帮助潘天寿成功举办了画展。还有，当年岑学恭等人在成都的画展，也同样受到张采芹的无私帮助。
张采芹等人主持举办的书画展览搞得有声有色，使四川的美术事业出现了空前繁荣，百花齐放的景象。时任中国美术学院院长的徐悲鸿高兴地从重庆给张采芹写来信说：“成都的文化艺术氛围如此浓厚，艺术家们的热情如此高涨，实皆有赖于四川美协诸公尤其是采芹、文谟二兄的操劳奋斗，第实为之感佩不已！”。
成都解放后，张采芹又一次表现出大度豪爽。
1950年初，接受清点张采芹总管的四川美协财产时，张采芹不仅将美协的所有财产全部交出，还搭进了自己的许多东西。据当时统计，他捐出的财产共有房舍10多间、家具286件、现大洋100多块；特别珍贵的是明代大画家陈洪绶的精美山水册页等，另有张大千、徐悲鸿等现代名家的一大批珍贵书画精品，共计232件。这其中，有不少古书画是张采芹自己掏钱收藏的，这些作品一直被他视为性命精心保存。但他以大局为重，将这批价值连城、极其珍贵的名古书画及现代名家作品，统统献给了国家。
1962年11月，北京徐悲鸿纪念馆馆长、徐的夫人廖静文女士给张写来一封信，说馆里急需一副徐当年为张采芹画的全身素描画像，希望张将此画寄去陈列。平时张采芹对此画最为珍爱，这是他与徐悲鸿亲密交往的唯一纪念品，且画上又有黄稚祥、谢无量、刘豫波等国学、书画大家的题字，他一时犹豫不决，想了很久。最后，他还是慷慨出手，将画寄往北京。“临别”前一天，张采芹将那幅画挂在卧室里足足看了一个晚上，他颤抖着抚摸画作，目光久久不愿移开。。。。。
晚年潜心于艺术创作，1978年后，挥毫泼墨，勤奋创作，几年间作画4200余幅，为后世留下了大量珍贵作品。1984年病逝，葬母校聚奎中学白沙黑石山梅林。
