龚桂明，1955年生　浙江省嵊州市人，毕业于浙江美术学院（现中国美术学院）。现为浙江绍兴文联主席，中国美术家协会会员，浙江省美术家协会理事，绍兴美术家协会名誉主席，绍兴市政协常委，绍兴市政协墨华书画院院长。作品有《花鸟》、国画《月白风清梅香》等。出版有《龚桂明作品集》（浙江人民美术出版社）等。
作品多次入选国家级和省级美术大展，并在香港、台湾及日本等地展出。作品被国内外多家美术馆、博物馆收藏，其本人也被《中国现代美术家人名录》、《浙江美术家人名录》等辞书收录。龚桂明长期从事花鸟画创作，画风朴实，尤其擅长画梅。每每画梅，下笔迅疾，线条婉转自如，追求气润，奔放淋漓，有论者认为他受近代名家吴昌硕影响较深，艺术上也秉承了苏东坡以来的文人画绘画思想，而又有所创新，其所画梅花打破了传统画作以折枝出现的形式，构图饱满，看上去似处被梅林，增添了现实景观之生气。
