郑伟建，1953年4月生，江苏苏州人。文博研究馆员，国家一级美术师，中国美术家协会会员。南京师范学院（今南京师范大学）中文专业毕业，南京师范大学美术学院研究生班结业。曾任江苏省美术馆副馆长、《江苏美术》（周刊）主编、省美术馆艺术创作委员会副主任。主要社会兼职：江苏文德山水画研究会副会长、江苏省文联理论委员会委员、江苏省侨联“华侨书画院”常任理事。
早年随著名画家宋文治先生学画，并得到陆俨少、亚明、张文俊等名师指点。创作的山水画作品多次参加国内外美术作品展览并获奖，为国内外美术馆、博物馆等收藏机构或收藏家收藏。
在国内外有关刊物上发表论文、评论30余篇。参与编撰《博物馆学概说》、《美术辞林·中国绘画卷》、《中国书画名家精品大典》、《20世纪江苏文化名人》、《东方既白·李可染艺术研究丛书》、《世纪之交——美术的回眸与展望》、《江苏省地方志·文化志》、《江苏省美术馆典藏作品集（中国画集、书法集、油画集）》等，出版《郑伟建山水画作品集》，专著《宋文治山水画技法解析》获江苏省哲学社会科学优秀成果奖，并作为系列丛书之一，获华东地区优秀图书奖。中华民族文化促进会、中国集邮总公司出版《当代中华文化名家—郑伟建》个性化专题邮票。南京电视台编制播放专题片《南京文化名家访谈——郑伟建的山水画艺术》。
