生于广东广州，籍贯广东东莞。现任广东画院展览馆馆长，《广东画院》编辑室主任、广州光孝寺菩提诗书画院副院长、广东省美术家协会会员。擅写山水，山水作品云烟幻灭，气势恢弘。师法传统，食古而化，深入生活，工写结合，自出机杼。作品多次入选全国及省市美展，举办个人画展，出版有《春山鸣泉——李春鸣山水画集》（一、二卷)。
主要个展：1989年，在美国三藩市举办李春鸣国画艺术展（第一回）；1991年，在美国纽约举办李春鸣国画艺术展（第二回）；1993年，在加拿大多伦多举办李春鸣国画艺术展（第三回）；2005年，在广州画院美术馆举办春山鸣泉——李春鸣山水雅品展；2006年，在云南省博物馆举办李春鸣山水作品展；2007年，在广州文理一堂画馆举办春山鸣泉——李春鸣山水画展。
