林映涛，广东潮州市人。1985年毕业于潮州师范美术专业。现为中国美术家协会会员、潮州画院画师。作品入选第十届全国美术作品展、首届中国画写意展、中国美术家协会第十八次全国新人新作展、获纪念邓小平诞辰100周年全国美术作品展铜奖。
