王冶，男，字心斋，1960年9月出生，汉族，系山东省龙口市人。1980年毕业于山东省莱阳师范美术专业，2002年毕业于曲阜师范大学美术系，1997年进修于中央美术学院中国画系，2015年结业于北京画院袁武人物画高研班。现为中国美术家协会会员、烟台市美协副主席、龙口市美协主席、龙口画院院长、国家一级美术师。烟台市政协常委、九三学社烟台艺术院副院长。
多年来有百余幅作品和评介文章散见于《国画家》，《中国连环画家》《中国文化报》、《中国书画报》、《北京日报》、《中国法制日报》、《大众报》等多种报刊，有多幅作品在省、地美展获过一、二、三等奖。多幅作品分别在中国美术馆、中国革命历史博物馆、山东美术馆展出。个人艺术成就专题片分别在“齐鲁电视台”、“烟台电视台”作专题报道。2000年，中国画《赤色年华》(第一稿)在山东省纪念建党80周年美展中获二等奖。2002年，中国画《红色梦萦》参加中国美协主办的《迎奥运全国中国画大展》，获优秀奖。2002年，中国画《赤色年华》(第一稿)参加中国美协主办的《西部辉煌全国中国画作品提名展》，获铜奖。2002年，中国画《消息树》参加中国美协主办的《中国西部大地情中国画大展》获优秀奖。2002年，国画《红色梦萦》入选山中国文联、中国美协、中国书协、中国摄影家协会联合丰办的《庆十六大全国美术、书法、摄影作品精品展》，并入选精品画集。2003年，中国画《军队和老百姓》参加中国美协主办的《纪念毛泽东诞辰1l()周年华夏笔都全国百名知名国画家特邀作品展》。
