楼邨（1881—1950），又名卓立、小名保源，字肖嵩、又字新吾，号玄根居士、麻木居士、玄道人、玄朴居士、玄璞居士、缙云老叟。与吴昌硕交好，介师友之间。吴氏为之改名辛壶（与新吾谐音），此后多用此名。斋称玄根廎。浙东缙云人。
据《三代画禅》(樊有富文)：楼狮山字阅江，清贡生，后毕业于浙江法政专科学校，从政而酷爱翰墨，有作品传世。其次子，即楼辛壶。辛壶子，名浩之，余友也，今为浙江逸仙书画社社长。
辛壶幼秉庭训，即嗜诗文及书画篆刻。18岁时，为不满封建婚姻从缙云逃至杭州，先后进浙江武备学堂、蚕桑学堂求学。毕业后，先执教于杭州仁和学堂、安定中学。后从政，任省府秘书。30岁左右脱离仕途，以金石书画自赡。综其后半生，除金石书画外唯以诗为事，积极参加社会活动。为西泠印社社员、南社社员。民国丙辰(1916年)迁居上海，曾任上海美术专科学校及中国艺术专科学校教授(后者曾任校长)，乐育英才，声名益著。据韩师登安回忆，楼氏曾主持西泠社务数年，盖由吴昌硕社长授意故。余曾询之楼氏之婿吴寅(亦老社员)，亦同。社中文献无有留存，今老辈谢世殆尽，已无可查考矣。
1911年，楼氏曾辑自刻印成《楼邨印稿)，其早年之印作，每见其旁注有吴昌硕亲笔批语，甚有参考价值。味琴、梅璋曾撰《评吴昌硕手评楼邨印稿)，披载于《书法》1983年第4期。缶庐评语如：绝妙”“再加苍茫”“此宜再得空气，壶字略收小更佳…‘加厚，神在个中”等。楼氏按缶庐意见改之，果然不凡。因未见楼氏为缶庐学生之确切记载，两人交好但虽有师生之事而无师生之实，故本文以师友之间为结也。

楼辛壶之篆刻
自先秦古玺，下至汉印、元朱、明清诸流派，靡不究心。因崇拜吴昌硕故，未免受其影响(见印例53—55)。楼氏逝世后，其哲嗣浩之兄曾汇其遗作成《楼辛壶印存》。书中有刘海粟、诸乐三题字，并陶冷月、沙师孟海、陆师维钊、韩师登安、沈本千、严群、徐映璞等序跋，称一时之盛。兹录陆文于下：
往岁，余客松江，获交于费丈龙丁。丈为言缙云楼辛壶先生之于艺，若书画、若金石，皆足称入古人之室，而得其用心之所在，非时流之所可几及，余心仪之。其后，余又交王丈芝龄，丈为言先生之为人不独精于艺，抑且笃于亲故。与人交，清而和易，介而不亢，恂恂有古君子之风，余于是益重先生。而又知费、王两丈平素固不轻于许人者，亦决不以私谊阿其所好者也。当是时，海上之以书画金石售于时者，类皆鹜征逐，通声气，以广交游而弋盛名。若先生者，固可谓游于艺而进于道者也。岁月不居，前尘若梦。及余来杭州，晤哲嗣浩之，知先生已归道山，所遗手迹，存者寥寥，唯印稿略备。浩之复益以西泠印社诸友之所藏，嘱余选定。余唯于篆刻之学无所钻研，第觉先生之作，自秦汉古玺以迄近代诸家，莫不撷其精而遗其粗，呼吸古今，不以一隅自囿。方之先生并世诸君，确无有出其右者。余以知曩者费、王二丈之言信不虚也。选录既竟，爰为之记其原委如此。
在《楼辛壶》(缙云县文史工作委员会编)中，陆师上述文字系由杭州老书家黄叔康以行书写成，末有小记，今并录此：“微昭兄作此序后，未及书写乃抱病人院，医疗无效，竟归道山。浩之检得此稿，谊不容辞，吮毫增感，喟然成之。庚申仲春，八一叟叔康黄洁并记。”其时乃1980年也。

楼氏之书法

楼氏画
