梅纯一(1906.4—1997.11)，安徽宿州人，南京中央大学艺术系毕业。宿州师专艺术系副教授、中国美术家协会会员、安徽省美术家协会理事、红叶书画研究社理事长、宿县地区文联名誉主席，以中国画驰名画坛。入《中国当代国画家辞典》、《中国美术家人名辞典》、《中国现代书画篆刻家名鉴》等。
自幼跟随其父著名书画家梅雪峰先生习画练字，耳濡目染，终日苦练。
1930年，考入国立南京中央大学艺术系，受教于吕凤子、徐悲鸿、张玉良、陈之佛等诸位大师。
1935年，毕业后赴湖南、重庆、西安投入抗日救亡运动，从事艺术教育和美术创作活动。
解放后，先后在宿县省立中学、联合中学、毓秀女中、崇真中学、宿城一中、二中、宿州师专从事美术教育工作。后任安徽宿州师范专科学校副教授。

1955年，国画《鹰石图》参加华东地区美术展。
文革前，其作品参加历届安徽省美展。
1979年，为人民大会堂安徽厅绘制巨幅国画《春华秋实图》。
1981年，率红叶书画研究社赴上海展出。
1982年，应邀参加南京师范学院美术系建系80周年活动。
1984年，率红叶书画研究赴新疆乌鲁木齐展出。
1986年，中国画《梅花图》获全国“卫士之光”画展优秀奖。
1986年，作品《秋实图》参加全国首届花鸟画邀请展，作品被江西省博物馆收藏。
1988年，国画《梅花图》两幅被毛主席纪念堂收藏。
1988年，作品《梅石图》参加全国第三届花鸟画邀请展，作品被徐州展览馆收藏。
1990年，作品《梅花图》参加全国第五届花鸟画邀请展，作品被武汉展览馆收藏。
1992年，应邀参加南京师范学院90周年校庆暨美术系建系90周年，作品在江苏美术馆展出。
1996年，获“徐悲鸿教育基金会”荣誉奖。
作品被美国、日本、新加坡、德国等国家名人收藏。??
