邓乐琴，字浪吟、草野、经德，1914年出生，2010年6月2日逝世，享年99岁，广东省大埔县人。中国美术家协会会员，中山大学教授，高级职称评委。1932年就读于苏州美术专科学校，是该校立案伊始首届30名毕业生之一、唯一的广东籍学生。
1934、1935年绘画作品分别入选苏州第十七届美术赛会和南京励志社及艺风画社主办之画展。
抗日战争时期，写下《钟馗斩鬼图》等近百幅抗日宣传画作，并在长沙、武汉、广州、汕头、香港、新加坡举办个人画展。
邓乐琴热爱教育事业，在中山医学院期间，潜心工作，不计名利，与毛文书、廖亚平、许天禄、叶鹿鸣、梁伯强等著名教授等通力合作，创作了大量高质量的教学图谱、教材插图，题材涉及生物学、人体解剖学、组织胚胎学、病理解剖学等，作出了很大的贡献。他绘制的《显微镜下的奴肉切片精细胞色彩图》在埃及开罗召开的眼科国际医学会上，被誉为超国际水平的佳作。
1993年5月广东省文联艺术委员会举办邓乐琴画展，展出其用三年时间绘制的长26米《百虎图》等作品。
2002年5月中国美术家协会在北京举办邓乐琴画展，同时召开座谈会。全国政协委员、中国文联原书记处书记、党组成员董良翚，中国美协党组书记、副主席刘大为，副主席程允贤，党组副书记、秘书长李中贵和傅家宝、郑叔方等美术界领导出席并为画展题词。
2002年6月7日《中国艺术报》在纪念毛泽东同志《在延安文艺座谈会上的讲话》发表60周年《中国书画家》专刊上介绍邓乐琴的作品，充分肯定和高度评价了他的艺术成就。
邓乐琴为还在退休后笔耕不缀，在国内外举行画展，义卖筹资，为家乡助学助教，捐建校舍，修桥筑路，传为桑梓佳话。
