张邯(1919.4—1986.11)。又名张西庚.四川乐山人。八岁时受其父书画收藏影响既喜爱国画书法篆刻。1952年调北京中国画研究会工作，继调天津中国画研究会工作，从师于刘子久、刘奎龄等。与吴镜汀、陈半丁、孙其峰、何海霞、方济众等人过从甚密。“文革”中下放山区，“文革”后在咸阳市生产资料公司工作。张邯学艺从传统入手，能入能出，学古而不泥古。他的金石，初学黄小松、丁敬，次学邓石如、吴让之，再学赵之谦、吴昌硕，将古玺、封泥、六朝文字入印，合百家而另辟溪径，自成一家。治印50年，总共发表的印章作品不足30件，部分作品被收入（现代印章选集）。他的绘画擅长山水写意，并工翎毛花卉。他的书法先从唐人入手，上溯秦汉。魏晋六朝碑帖无不抚临。草篆隶皆精．派系兼收并蓄，编入过由北京出版《中国美术家人名辞典》和天津出版《人民美术家辞典》，1952年解放军画报发表《进军西藏图》，1954年北京中国画研究会在故宫展示《松树》，1981年纪念中国共产党成立60周年陕西省美术作品展示《松鹰》。其书画多次参加全国展览，还先后在日本、新加坡和香港等地展出、收藏和出版。1986年5月，中国美术家协会陕西分会在西安举办《张邯书画作品展览），展出作品200余幅.先后出任中国美协会会员、中国书协会会员、陕西分会理事、北京中国画研究会会员、天津中国画研究会会员、上海中国金石篆刻研究社社员。擅长中国画.自学书画篆刻，早年山水画以青绿见长，晚年追求笔墨韵致，工作于咸阳地区生产资料公司。曾任陕西咸阳市美术书法家协会主席、咸阳市美术书法家协会主席、咸阳市秦都区文联名誉主席、政协咸阳市委员会委员。著有《篆刻要略》。作品有《松鹰》、《墨荷》、《农忙时节》等。
