国家一级美术师。自幼酷爱绘画，后刻苦自学，工人物、山水、花鸟，并及书法、篆刻。人物画善写典籍人物，工写结合，造型准确，笔墨精练，贴近生活。从事连环画创作二十年，作品累计长、短篇百余部。自1961年以来，曾获全国及省级奖项10余次。

代表作有《渔岛怒潮》、《秋瑾》、《陈赓大将》、《红楼梦》等。连环画《渔岛怒潮》获第二届全国连环画创作二等奖；《尤三姐》获第三届全国连环画创作评奖二等奖，并于1986年送往英国展览 。

 儿时，握笔涂鸦，游衍成癖，遂漫漫此生艰程。年轻，好遐想，不入时宜，乃招谤忤物，就业未几，径自辞退。后居家自修书画，兼事连环图作（赖为生计）。不久，“文革”浩劫，以异类而逐故里。继之漂泊羁旅，浪浪十余载。时过十年，复职于江西省艺术研究所。为中国美术家协会会员、第四届理事，江西省事美术家协会副主席（退休职毕），现为国家一级美术师。

从事连环图前后十余年，出书不少，其艺平平。未料同仁多为鼓勉，美言之“形式新颖”、“风格潇洒”云云，一时竟不乏摹拟者。弼则不以为然。窃以为或多年沉湎笔墨。遂兹审美之趣向，乃假山水花鸟画勾皴点染之琐技，拼凑而已。犹如村野小摊上的炒煮货色，品之无味，食可充饥。

近十余年，常自囿陋室，看书写字。纹枰设局，作画亦是遣兴之事，不知“世上已千年”。方今画坛，绚烂多彩，英才辈出，奇峰霞举。弼已心劳日拙，许在末行。承蒙天津人民美术出版社提携，于是不揣鄙陋，搜近作水墨人物图帧，重以线描形式图之散页，缀为此册。惟贻笑大方，则求教于诸君。

 丁老师是一位集“诗、画、棋、书、篆刻”于一身的“豫章才子”，他的多才多艺早已是人所共知，闻名遐迩。他热爱中国古典诗词和书画艺术，围棋技艺高超，一般人不是他的对手，自己的印章及学生和亲朋好友的印章都是他亲自篆刻的，每枚都十分隽秀和精致。丁老师不仅绘画精湛，而且书法也以洒脱、飘逸闻名，也许是“书画同源”的缘故吧。

丁老师一生中画了近二百部连环画，可谓硕果累累。当笔者问及他的创作感受和经验时，丁老师谦逊地说：“创作经验谈不上，但个人感受还是有一些的。连环画要画好，不是一件容易的事。首先是绘画的基本功要好，如果是线描作品，那他的基础一定要扎实，而且在小小的画面上要做统筹安排，合理布局。注意主、次、虚、实的区分，对人物的造型，景物烘托都要做通盘考虑。具备精益求精的精神，只有这样，才能创造出比较好的作品来。”

喜爱的作品

《画虎记》是丁老师喜爱的作品之一。被史书称为“善画牛虎、兼工鸷禽雀竹，绰有奇思”的厉归真是五代时期的著名画家，他博采众长，勇于创新，深入观察生活和各种动物，勤奋学艺、刻苦磨练，最终成为一代名家，深受后人钦佩和敬仰。

丁老师历经人生坎坷与艰辛，《画虎记》有不少情节就是他生活的真实写照。“梅花香自苦寒来”，丁老师在连环画创作道路上的辉煌成就，正是他用一生心血和汗水换来的，值得我们认真总结和学习。

 丁老师坚持连环画创作先后长达三十余年，不论命运如何乖舛，丝毫不能动摇他对艺术的追求。他平时潜心作画，淡泊名利，很少外出参加活动。书上签名一事，他一贯不太主张，认为反而会影响品相，但由于连友们的强烈喜爱和要求，他总是破例满足大家的要求。“江西省连环画交流展示拍卖会”期间，聘请画家与连友见面，场面十分火爆，要求签名的连友排成长长的队伍，秩序井然地等待着，丁老师感动了，签名进行了近两个小时，虽然十分劳累，但他还是满足了大家的要求。表现出一位艺术家平易近人的高贵品质。

 Ding Shibi (1939.8 -) was born in Changsha, Southwest Jiangxi Province. Good at Chinese painting, comic book. Successive editors of Jiangxi People's Publishing House and professional creative cadres of Jiangxi Institute of Literature and Art. His works include Yousanjie and Qiujin. "Fishing Island Fury Wave" won the second prize of the second national comic book award, and "You Sanjie" won the second prize of the third national comic book award.

National first-class artist. From childhood, he loved painting, and then studied hard on his own. He worked on figures, landscapes, flowers and birds, as well as calligraphy and seal cutting. Figure painting is good at describing classical characters, combining work with writing, accurate in shape, concise in pen and ink, and close to life. He has been engaged in the creation of comic strips for 20 years, and has accumulated more than 100 pieces of long and short works. Since 1961, he has won more than 10 national and provincial awards.

His representative works include Angry Tides on Fishing Island, Qiujin, Major General Chen Kun and A Dream of Red Mansions. The comic book "Angry Tide of Fishing Island" won the second national comic creation prize, and "You Sanjie" won the second prize of the third national comic creation award, which was sent to the British exhibition in 1986.

As a child, graffiti with a pen, wandering into addiction, and then wandering through the difficult life. Young, daydreaming, out of season, is a slander, employment is few, just quit. Self-study painting and calligraphy at home, and work on comic books (to make a living). Soon afterwards, the "Cultural Revolution" devastated and drove home in a different way. Then drifting detention, waves more than ten years. Ten years later, he resumed his post in Jiangxi Art Research Institute. He is a member of China Artists Association and the fourth director of Jiangxi Provincial Artists Association. He is now a national first-class artist.

He has been engaged in the comic book for more than ten years, and has published many books. His art is plain. Unexpectedly, most of my colleagues are encouraged. In beautiful words, there are many imitators of "novel form" and "smart style". Pr disagrees. I thought I had been writing for years. Suiz's aesthetic interest is the trivial skill of painting fake landscapes, flowers and birds. Like the fried and boiled goods on the village stalls, the tasteless food can fill the hunger.

Over the past ten years, he has often been confined to a shanty room, reading and writing. Painting is also a matter of entertainment. I don't know that "there are thousands of years in the world". In today's world of painting, there are many brilliant and talented people, Qifeng Xiaju. Bi has been tired and frustrated, Xu is at the end of the line. Thanks to the help of Tianjin People's Art Publishing House, he searched for ink figure frames and attached the scattered pages of line drawings to this volume. He who laughs generously seeks advice from all kings.

Mr. Ding is a "Yu Zhang scholar" who combines poems, paintings, chess, books and seal carvings. His versatility is well known and well known. He loves Chinese classical poetry and painting. He is skilled at Go. The average person is not his opponent. His seal and the seal of his students and friends are all carved by him personally. Each one is very meaningful and delicate. Teacher Ding is not only exquisite in painting, but also famous for his free and elegant calligraphy. Maybe it is because of the same origin of painting and calligraphy.
