康师尧(1921-1985)，笔名康巽，河南省博爱县人;一九四四年夏毕业于武昌艺专绘画科国画专业。代表作品有《芙蓉》、《秋意图》(为中国美术馆收藏)、《花蓝》(被选入《建国十周年绘画作品集选》)、《竹林小鸟》、《雪里红梅》等。

出版有《国画基本技法》一书。长期从事中国花鸟画创作，作品多次参加国外和全国、省、地区美展。

一九七八年在北京举办过个人画展;一九七八年以来还为中央工艺美术学院、湖北艺术学院等作过讲座。曾任美协西安分会国画组长、美术服务部主任、办公室及会员工作部代主任、美协陕西分会创作委员会委员、陕西省书法篆刻研究会理事、西安市工艺美术工业公司副总工艺师、西安市政协委员，是中国美术家协会会员。

康师尧字画

代表作品有《芙蓉》、《秋意图》、《秋老珠红》、《泳梅诗意画》、《竹林小鸟》、《献给祖国的一束小花》(组画)等，此组画获"全国六届美展"优秀作品奖，并被中国美术馆收藏。画作以清新典雅为主调，兼工带写，自具风貌。

其作品立意新奇，用笔凝重爽利，潇洒中不失精密严格的法度，僻涩中具清新隽逸，手法丰富，题材广泛，且富有浓厚的生活情趣。

其作品多次在全国各大报刊、专业杂志上发表。部分作品被中国美术馆、湖南、辽宁、天津等博物馆收藏。他先后在重庆、北京、开封、西安等地举办过个人画展，并参加过"中国画展"赴英国、日本、丹麦等国展出。在国内外享有很高的声誉。

晚期的作品兼工带写，自成一家，风格以清新、典雅为主调。笔墨娴熟悉、细腻精巧，有自己独特的风格。

为衣食计，就业于西安中南火柴厂任文书，业余坚持国画创作。

1965年调中国美术家协会西安分会，任国画组组长，为"长安画派"主要成员之一。

1972年先后参加了西安人民大厦、郑州车站和北京饭店等处陈设画创作。

1973年调西安工艺美术工业公司。

1978年始，先后在中央工艺美术学院、中央美术学院、湖北省艺术学院等校讲学。

1979年参加人民大会堂陕西厅陈设更新工作，任总体设计。

1983年受中国工艺美术学会委托，与西北大学合办汉唐工艺研究班并主持教学;后任中国美协及中国书法家协会会员，美协陕西分会常务理事，书协陕西分会理事，陕西国画院副院长，中国工艺美术学会民间工艺专业委员会副主任。

先生一生从事工笔花鸟画创作研究;作品《献给祖国的一束小花》入选第六届全国美展优秀作品展;《牡丹》等十余幅作品被中国美术馆收藏，《荷花》等十幅作品被天津艺术博物馆收藏。

先后在重庆、北京、南京、开封等地举办个人画展。著有《国画基本技法》、《写意花卉技法探索》等。

1985年病逝。

 康师尧先生是是长安画派唯一的以花鸟画见称的画家。由于康师尧先生那谦和的个性与独辟蹊径的画风造成了他与世无争的默默无闻的追求，他甚至极少将自己的佳作向世人展示。

观先生之作，我们会觉察到这样一个有特色有个性的画家，觉察到他那仗义执言的独行风格和俗中求清雅、平中求艰深、浅中求宏远、工中求变化的探索。他不愧为一位知难而进的艺术家。

Kang Shiyao (1921-1985), pen name Kangsun, born in Boai County, Henan Province. Having lived in Xi'an for a long time. Good at Chinese painting. Before his death, he was a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a member of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, a standing director of the Shaanxi Artists Association, a director of the Shaanxi Calligraphy Association, a vice-president of the Shaanxi Chinese Painting Academy, a vice-director of the folk arts and crafts professional committee of the Chinese Arts and Crafts Society, the first vice-president of the Xi'an Arts and Crafts Society, a vice-president of the Shaanxi Chinese Painting Academy and a first- He participated in the Third and Fourth National Cultural Congresses.

In the summer of 1944, he graduated from Wuchang Art College in the field of traditional Chinese painting. He was taught by Kang Yihe and Zhang Zhaoming. He focused on fine brushwork, flowers and birds, ladies, and freehand brushwork. He actively explored the innovation of Chinese traditional flower and bird painting. Having studied and studied the traditional Chinese painting techniques, he attached great importance to the observation of nature and was diligent in sketching. Kang Shiyao, pen name Kang Sung, named Buddha, was born in Kaifeng, the ancestral home of Humanity in Henan Province. He graduated from Jiangjin Wuchang Art College in Sichuan in 1944.

For food and clothing, he was employed in Xi'an Zhongnan Match Factory as a clerk and insisted on the creation of Chinese painting in his spare time.

In 1965, he was the head of the Chinese Painting Group and one of the main members of the Chang'an Painting School.

In 1972, he participated in the creation of decoration paintings in Xi'an People's Building, Zhengzhou Station and Beijing Hotel.

Xi'an Arts and Crafts Industry Co., Ltd. was transferred in 1973.

Since 1978, he has lectured at the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts, the Central Academy of Fine Arts and the Hubei Academy of Arts.

In 1979, he participated in the renovation of the Shaanxi Hall of the Great Hall of the People and served as the general design.

In 1983, entrusted by the Chinese Academy of Arts and Crafts, he co-sponsored the Han and Tang Dynasty Crafts Research Class with Northwest University and presided over the teaching; later he was a member of the Chinese Artists Association and the Chinese Calligrapher Association, a standing director of the Shaanxi Branch of the Association of Arts, a director of the Shaanxi Branch of the Association of Calligraphers, a vice president of the Shaanxi Academy of Traditional Chinese Painting, and a 。

He died of illness in 1985.

Mr. Kang Shiyao is the only painter of Chang'an School known for his flower and bird paintings. Because of Mr. Kang Shiyao's modest personality and unique style of painting, his unknown pursuit of the world was created, and he seldom even showed his masterpiece to the world.
